SIXTEEN-year-old Hamish Maclure has come out on top of the open paraders competition of the Royal Canberra Cattle Show today.

Continually described as “cool, calm and collected” by judge Renae Keith of Allenae Angus and Poll Herefords, Roslyn, Mr Maclure is no stranger to success at the Canberra event previously winning grand champion beef cattle junior judge in 2018.

From Keajura Park Show Team, Tarcutta, Mr Maclure was parading Keajura Krystal Rose R3, a 11-month-old black Limousin daughter of Cottage Park Big Star out of Summit Krystal L35.

He won the 16 to 18 years division before taking the top honours.
