The latest Aboriginal Community Police Officers (APCO) to join the NT Police have been sworn in at a ceremony in Darwin.

Northern Territory Police Association President Paul McCue attended the swearing in ceremony at the police college. The recruits of APCO Squad 27 took an oath to serve and protect in front of Commissioner Jamie Chalker.

The 11 men and women will now complete a minimum 22 weeks of full-time training and they will be a welcome boost to the resources across the Territory.

Congratulations and welcome to the NT Police family!
